All Questions Are Welcome

Thank you for your interest! We would love to hear from you. Please feel free to submit any questions you may have and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

When was RIAC founded?

Founded in 1993, the Refugee & Immigrant Assistance Center (RIAC), originally known as the Somali Women & Children Association, has been a guiding light for refugees, asylees, and immigrants in Boston, Lynn, and Worcester. We take immense pride in our journey and the transformative impact we’ve had on the lives of countless individuals and families.

Is there a Co-Sponsorship Program?

Form a team and commit to accompanying a refugee family on their resettlement journey. Co-sponsorship teams help newcomers over a more extended period and offer more diverse community experiences than resettlement agency staff alone can offer. We believe involving more people and supporting newcomers will improve integration outcomes and increase public understanding of refugee issues.

How Can I help Fundraise?

Plan and host fundraising activities on behalf of RIAC. Help us leverage both in-kind and financial resources to support refugees as they integrate into Massachusetts.
